Do you want to help out on the wiki, but you're not sure how? Do you want to join in with the community, but you're too shy to start roleplaying until you get some connections? Do you want to kick some butt and earn respect from the administrators and moderators while doing it?
If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then this is your chance. There are a few things you can help out with right now, and the list is ever expanding.
So without further adieu, let's see what you can help with, and how.
Gallery Patrol (50)
- Go to our Gallery
- Find an image you think really doesn't need to be here. Your reason should be one of the following:
- Rule breaking
- Bad quality
- Deleted OC/AU
- Unpermitted Art
- Inappropriate
- Chat screencap (these should really be hosted on another site)
- Other (make sure you clear the reason with an administrator first)
- Go to the image page.
- Edit the description, and add {{Image Delete|<Reason>}}
- Save the edit. An administrator will come by and delete all the images marked with that template a little later.
Page Patrol (30)
- Look around at the pages of the wiki
- See if any break the Page Guidelines.
- If one does, point it out to a Staff Member who can mark it for deletion.
Forum Patrol (15)
- Watch the forum RPs for anything that breaks the Wiki Rules.
- If you see something, report it to a forum moderator or an administrator.
Chat Patrol (50)
- Keep an eye on chat
- If something comes up, ping a moderator, or take screenshots if no mods are online/responsive.
Need some incentive? Confused about the numbers? Let me clear that up for you.
The numbers beside each section are the number of helpful reports required to become an official patroller in that area of the wiki. Becoming an official patroller means you get a badge on your profile for it, and it proves to everyone how helpful you are around the wiki. Being a patroller does not mean you are on the staff team, but it is a position of honor.
I hope to see a lot of people helping out. Let's get this wiki clean, active, and in tip top shape!
