He couldn't see anything, everything was pitch black. He could only hear the sounds of running footsteps. Was it a bad dream? A nightmare? Then the footsteps slowly faded away, replaced by running water...
A small child up with a start. He looked around to see he was in a dark place with a rushing waterfall near him. How did he get here? Why was he on the ground? Why couldn't he...remember anything? The child gets up and starts walking, trying so hard to remember what happened, to him and his strange dream, but nothing came.
He wandered the waterfalls for a while. Admiring the blue glow of the echo flower and the crashing sounds of the waterfalls. Suddenly he trips over a rock, falling flat on his face. The child grunts in pain as he gets up. Then he heard a soft voice.
"Hey are you alright?"
The child lifts his head up to see a small girl, maybe 10 or 11. She had her hand reached out to him, her fur white standing out against the dark of the waterfall.
"Th...thank you..." the child embarrassingly says as he takes her hand as the girl lifts him up
"No problem. Hey, what's your name?" she asks him
"My name?" the child replies, he closes his eyes and thinks hard. Finally he opens them, looking at the girl awaiting his answer.
"My name... My name is...
My name is clover."
"Clover? That's a nice name." the girl replies smiling.
"My name is Lila, and i think were going friends clover."
